Aejaz started his food career working in a variety of different hotels and venues, such as Qantas, Hilton Hotel and Sydney Showboats, but stuck with his passion for Indian food and opened his first restaurant in Newtown called Indian Fantasy. He decided to take his talents of putting smiles on guests’ faces through his cooking to South Hurstville, where he and his wife Saroj opened Jazzi’s Indian and Continental Restaurant in 2006. As a proud family-owned eatery for nearly two decades, Jazzi’s is all about celebrating the rich heritage of Indian cuisine, bringing together bold and authentic spices, heartwarming hospitality, and unforgettable dishes to the table.
At Jazzi’s, we blend timeless culinary knowledge with years of experience to deliver a unique dining experience that has been recognised and loved beyond borders. Delicious foods, full of flavour. Our go to Indian cuisine. Their pappadum is my fav, filled with herbs. We usually have their succulent tandoori. Today we tried their Palak Patta Chat, a crunchy spinach battered pieces with potato and chick peas served with yoghurt and sauce entree - this is now our fav. Palak paneer and kairali beef fry is well balanced and delicious too.
We were driving through and decided to stop for dinner. I really enjoyed the meal and especially the lamb briyani. - We were at Jazzi's again last night. We ordered the lamb briyani and keema naan again and added the mixed entree. We ended having to take the leftovers home. This is one of our favourite Indian restaurants and I have been to many. Latest We brought my BIL and SIL here for dinner tonight, in addition to the usual, we ordered the Fish Korma and the blackboard special: Goat Masala. Both were delicious but OMG the Goat Masala was so good that we ordered another portion and a Lamb Briyani to take home.
This is one of the best Indian Restaurants you’ll find in Sydney. The chef (Jazzi) is an absolute master in the kitchen and will cook to your preferences (no worries if you can’t take your curries too hot). Our favourite thing to do is just leave it up to Jazzi to feed us - it’s always amazing. With starched white tablecloths and warm friendly service, they also cater for vegetarians and vegans. We have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the world and still say this place is the best!
Great food and delightful owners. Thoroughly recommend. 😀👍😋🙏
Thank you for the delicious meals and generous extras found in the bag when I got home after my pick up 🤗🩷 The Butter Chicken was authentic and flavoursome as expected and the garlic naan perfectly baked and fresh sprinkled with fresh herbs ! The hospitality shown, whether dining in or taking away is always genuine and welcoming
A very very good and authentic Indian restaurant. We have been coming here for years and always enjoy our meals. The madras is the best I’ve ever had! Food is fresh and staff are very friendly and happy to help you decide what to eat.
Incredible service, genuinely delicious food. I made an error in ordering online, and they were kind enough to deliver it again, even in the rain, after we clarified the situation over the phone. We ordered a simple butter chicken, and were blown away with the depth and flavour of the sauce. It was comforting, the Naan was light (We ordered both Cheesy and Keema) and the texture was perfect, the combination of spices in the Samosas complemented the sauce incredibly well. It was our first time trying your food, but it certainly will not be the last. I look forward to ordering again, as the love and care put into the meal was obvious. Thank you again for the delicious meal and incredible kindness!
Absolutely the best Indian food. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Sydney. Take away or dine in. Sirose is an amazing owner waiter, always happy to receive us. Child friendly. Veg koftas are our go-to meal, but everything else is also delicious. Very yummy crunchy papadums. Mango kulfi always a winner.
The owners are extremely friendly and the food is great! You can't really go wrong with picking anything off of the menu but if you are looking for recommendations the tandoori lamb cutlets, madras fish curry, kofta dilkush (if you like slightly sweeter curries) and the classic beef vindaloo are my personal favourites. The meat is really tender and the flavours very rich.
This restaurant should be given 5 stars everytime. The owners, the food, the cleanliness everything is top notch. I am a regular customer here and Jazzi and his lovely wife never fail to disappoint. The quality of the food is amazing and so is their service.
